I am a retired librarian and Midwest born and raised. I always wanted to be a writer and throughout my life I have written stories but was never brave enough to try publish them. My hobbies are cooking, reading, writing and exploring the Southwest.

After I retired I had an idea to create adult story bags for librarians to use for outreach at senior centers. Realizing that I didn’t have the money to do something like this I decided to write a book about older adults along with program outlines that librarians could use. My son shared with me that he had to step outside of his comfort zone in college to meet people. I realized then that it was time for me to step outside my comfort zone.

After two years my book On the Go with Senior Services: library programs for anyplace and anytime will be published in March 2020.

My hope is to continue writing and perhaps be published again. I tend to write nonfiction but am open to fiction. I am seeking stories about how retirees managed the transition of retirement. I am also seeking stories about how people learned to cook. Sometimes I just write what is on my mind.

I would love to hear from other writers. Thank you for looking at my blog.
